I assume it meant best this year so last year should be irrelevant. It's also hard when you don't see both so we have to resort to stats (not a perfect way to determine who is better). Stats only Drew H might be Mr Football.

 

As I said I'm not saying the kids aren't deserving. I'm saying they must be damn good to get the nod over Houliston.

Actually Houliston only played 14 games as he missed one due to injury. I agree with keyplayer in that the list is rather shaky to me at best. Most are very deserving.

Gotcha. Didn't ready that. It's silly to have a career team. Houlihan played behind 2 first-team all-state QBs his first two years.

Just looked at the Courier Journal All-State team and it is also very interesting.. Highlands most of been terrible this year..:ohbrother:

I do agree there.

Interesting to say the least, I understand it is tabbed best of the Bluegrass, but would like to see a little more love for the big uglies down in the trenches. Although all of these QB's and RB's are super talented, their stats most certinley would not have been as impressive had they not had the horses up front. Just my opinion.

Guys numbers speak for themselves, his only knock is he is not physically a college talent. To go a step further look at his stats vs larger schools in his 3 years as a starter

I agree, not many of the various all star lists cover the linemen very well. Sad, to say the least. There are some great linemen around the state.
