Choo turns down 7 years 140 million from Yankees?

Featured Replies

Choo must be insane to turn down that offer especially at age 31.

More like his agent...

id rather have those two players as opposed to Cano.

No doubt.

I like homers, average and RBIs more than OPS and Choo still isn't better than Cano in that either.

Your right he's not but he's also not a 3 or 4 hitter in the line up, he's a lead off guy. Another point is that he gives about the same numbers as Cano does but at a cheaper price.

BTW I'm not hating on Cano...behind Mo he was my favorite Yankee

Everybody is different.

I read this differently, that Choos agent turned down the deal wanting more money.

I'll put my $$ on Scott Boras....

Boras may end up getting him more money somehow but I would love to see the MLB teams as a whole stick it to some of these players and their ridiculous contract demands. Honestly, it would bring in a bit of fresh air and some reality back to some of these agents/players that they will not always get what they want.

Salaries are just getting way out of hand now-a-days.
