I don't look at it as hatin. It's all in good fun. I think they are just showing how great NKY teams have usually been and this is a rate occasion.

NKY will more times than not bring back a trophy. We have to share every now and then with the rest of the state

If they're talking about you or have joy in your loss then you're doing alright.

We usually have at least 3. Let's count them....1....2....what? 0.....ZERO.....NONE.....NATA.....How can this be? Northern Ky!!!! Just across the river from high school football heaven. What is going on here? 6 new state champs, scattered evenly all across the Commonwealth, except for the Northern Ky region. It just isn't fair.

You know since KY went to 6 classes NKY has never won a 3A title:rolleyes:

Nope....been told over and over again that Carroll County is not in NKY.

Prior to this year, it appears the last time no NKY team won a title was 03, which was part of an uncharacteristic three year drought for NKY schools (01 and 02 included).

 

Prior to that you have to go back to 1995, then back to 1990. It doesn't happen very often.

 

Interesting piece of trivia, last time no NKY team appeared in a state championship game was 1978.

 

My guess is we may have a thread like this sometime around 2023. I think NKY will be alright.

I'd have to agree. I always considered NKY being made up of Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties.
