I don't think so. It seems college replay is about useless. They mess up most of those now. It slows the game down too much. What makes anyone think any high schools could do any better?

I like the idea. I'd say we aren't close to every high school having that technology, and it makes for a more accurate called game. What's wrong with that?

Why are you so opposed? Didn't basketball go from 2 officials to a mandatory 3 officials for post season play?

And as you mentioned the FG posts are smaller than in the regular season in football. (not sure why someone has not invented an adjustable FG crossbar. There are also many media timeouts that do not exist in the regular season or any other playoff games.

 

Basketball has 3 officials on ALL Varsity level games now.

I think people are really discounting how much money it takes to offer a reputable replay service. WKU does have great replay services for their games, but I am not sure how many replay officials and camera crew people we are talking here.

Initially I was against this, but looking at "The Fumble" and a play or two in our game a few years ago I guess I lean towards if it's available then it should be used.
