Not a down year for best teams, they just got better and beat the heck out of each other. Poor old South Carolina just made the ACC #2 Clemson look like a rag doll. I do think ALA beats Free Shoe Univ. But we will never find out. Now back to making up Bowl Games. The Purple Pride Bowl Bowling Green vs. SEC team (TBD) He wont be there though, he will be with me in Colo for that bowl game. South Carolina didn't put Clemson away until the 4th quarter. FSU put them away shortly after kickoff. FSU would beat Bama by at least 10 points. And play Hangman on the sidelines in the 4th quarter. And the PurplePride Bowl is always Bowling Green vs. Boyle County.

December 4, 201312 yr FNL is easily my favorite series ever. Watched it all and finished up maybe a week or two before moving down. Definitely interesting seeing what was and wasn't accurate.

December 5, 201312 yr Let me know. :lol2: The pageantry is there. For sure. Stands filled on Friday night just like it's a big game in Kentucky in February. The cheerleaders or whatever doing the player's gift bags, putting signs in their yard, that kinda stuff happens. The grittiness of the Friday Night Lights movie about Odessa Permian seems more accurate when it comes to stuff like playing Boobie Miles playing through injuries, trying to go on a torn ACL. Not a comeback win every week like FNL, but when you go to a game, you know you're there because it seems like the whole town is. First game I went to down here was a playoff game, and the visiting team had a RB that was going to Oklahoma. He stood out, but not THAT much better than some of his teammates where you'd see him and just think "wow, that kid is easily the best player on the field".
