Nurse reveals the top 5 regrets people make on their deathbed

Featured Replies

To be honest I'm good on all 5.

I've always had a job that a)gave me a nice income and b)allowed me to be around and not work set hours. Yes, I do travel occasionally but I didn't do that until after my kids were older.

I grew up in a family where feelings were always expressed.

I stay in touch with most of my old high school friends close and far.

My biggest regret would not doing enough charitable work.

Thank you for this thread. It's got me thinking, and better now than then.

I used to have a problem with No. 1 but no more. I'm really bad on No. 2 and I wish I had time to stay connected with friends.

I'm good on the 5 listed & if I died tomorrow I have no regrets. I had a job I loved, worked hard, played harder and retired early to spend more time with my 83 yr old mom. I do a little of everything-play golf, help a 91 yr old neighbor with errands, spend time with my family, teach Sunday School, do some tutoring in Physics, help the local Food Pantry, got certified as a Personal Trainer(I'm my best client),do an exercise class for a group of ladies and I still do consulting when & where I want to in cardiac sonography. I do spend a lot of my time in dr offices with my mom but so blessed that I still have her. No regrets just thank God that he has blessed my life with family, friends and good health.

If I could share my energy with you I sure would!

Better to look at these now and make changes than to wait until it is too late.
