Third year in a row these two teams meet in the finals. Williamsburg has been flying under the radar the entire season. Can the Bulldogs win the region again?

Hazard 36-34.

This will be by less than a TD and I'll go with battle tested Hazard.

I have to say that I will be surprised if Williamsburg does not win. I have been correcting everyone when they say, "Hazard will win".

I agree. Williamsburg does not run the ball quite enough for my tastes, although I kind of expect them to do some different things with the running game Friday night. They have some playmakers with quick strike capability and their line play on both sides of the ball has been excellent when they have had everyone playing.

Williamsburg will have to score to win. They've been shut out by Hazard the last two years. Hazard has been very quiet this season, but the winner of this game hosts the Semi-State. It wouldn't surprise me to see Hazard playing in Bowling Green in a couple weeks.

I watched this game last year, and Williamsburg pretty much dominated it, except for what mattered the most, the score. They went up and down the field, but self destructed in the red zone time after time, whereas Hazard did not move the ball at all, but was able to score on a very long run and great individual effort from their star player(cannot come up with his name).

Maddonism. lol

I have no problem with Hazard, but I'd like to see Williamsburg win, just because that would guarantee some new blood in the 1A final from the eastern side. Williamsburg and Raceland have never been, while Pikeville has but it was before I started going.

Williamsburg should win this one by 10-14. I know comparing scores is dangerous but each of the common opponents, Williamsburg seemed to handle a lot better than Pikeville did. Also, Williamsburg should have won the game last year, they just couldn't quit turning the ball over. If they take care of the ball they win this game.

Les... calling Les ... print and save this one Les. :)

Good luck to both teams. I just hope we are playing against your winner.
