7/8 teams are very, very close to each other and capable of winning on any given night with Pike Central being the consensus weakest team

 

But...

the favorite until they're beaten

 

2. Belfry -

the Beast from the East, but the Johnson Central loss worries me,

 

3. Wayne County -

I want to see more than demolishing a suspect Corbin team whose underachieved most of the year

 

4. Bourbon County -

the great unknown

 

5. Paducah Tilghman -

usually an athletic bunch, but McCracken's performance this past week has me wondering how good they are

 

6. Mason County -

usually athletic, well coached, and have the tradition; talent seems to be a bit down this year as compared to some of their better years though

 

7. South Warren -

good run defense, but is it enough

 

8. Pike County Central -

not a lot of talent left relatively speaking and are now going into their next game sans their head coach

I think you mean South WARREN. South Oldham is a 5A school and lost on Friday night.

I think that the top 5 are one tier; Mason and SW have a puncher's chance, and Pike Central has the toughest row to hoe.
