What's so unique about AC's offense other than playing poor competition?

 

Have you even LOOKED at the two schedules? No crappy 1 win 2A school (Holy Cross Cov) or winless, very bad 6A (Boone) on Andersons schedule. But there ARE two top rated 4A teams in Boyle and Collins, oh and Mercer Co is pretty decent too...all out of district games. Oh, and by the way, in common opponents, Anderson fared MUCH better than Conner did (South Oldham and Montgomery Co.). Maybe you should look a little before you speak.

Having seen Anderson County's offense I don't recall anything special about it other than you better contain Cox and these boys don't ever quit.

Yes and Conner's 1st team didn't play past halftime vs the two teams you mentioned. I also see an undefeated 6A team in SK, a very good 6A team in Campbell County, and a power in Covington Catholic. You can't name the best teams Anderson plays and the worst teams Conner plays. Mercer County is a stretch as a good team. For Conner, 4 6A teams on the schedule to start the season. But what I really meant was that Anderson hasn't seen a passing attack close to Conner's. Much like Purple Pride said, what is so special about Anderson's offense that makes it "unique?" What has Conner not seen that Anderson brings? I believe this will be a very close game, but Anderson's offense is NOT unique.

And I didn't say their off. was unique either. And the teams I pointed out were bad teams that Conner played, worse than the worst teams on AC's schedule, that's the point I was trying to make. You wanted to point to a poor AC schedule, all I did was point out that it could be said the worst teams on either schedule were on Conner's schedule, and in common opponent matchups, Anderson fared better. You can argue for a Conner win and make legitimate arguments, and they just might do it, but I don't think you can look at the two schedules in comparison and make the "poor schedule" comment you made.

Should be a fun game. Just hope no one gets hurt.

Having seen Conner, there doesn't seem too much to contain other than Barker. He has basically one receiver. He's a fine player, but Conner hasn't really done anything to overly impress this year. I'm really not sure what makes them so superior in your mind. I think it will be a very close game.
