Clyde Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Final from Louisville. Congrats to Coach Brossart, Coach Thaxton, and the rest of the team. Fun one next week.
StraightShooter Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Great job by the Red Colonels. Should be a fun game to watch next week in Indy! Congrats to Dave and the young men!
RomanEmpire Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Is Dixie going to beat SK? I think they have a shot but have to play their near perfect game.

OlDog75 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Not a chance! Keep taking them lightly. Better yet, look past them to the next game. I would LOVE to serve you a big plate of crow to choke on. :lol2:
fan4nascar Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Obviously had it not been for a fumble on a punt return Dixie could have one the first matchup in Indy, not sure Dixie is balanced enough to beat SK, but it will be a close game IMO.

Yeah, without much of a passing attack, they cannot afford to get too far behind.

They just need to throw enough passes to keep SK honest. Dixie is not at its best trying to be balanced. They are at their best pounding the ball. If they lose sight of that and try to be balanced, SK will win by more than they did the first time. It is like any other closely matched game as seen in the first one between those two - turnovers and big plays will be the difference.

Yes, I agree...Dixies ground and pound continues to net very good results. Good clock management and no turnovers will be key for the Colonels to escape from SK with a win. I do think the occasional pass to a WR, once in a blue moon, would open up a few plays for them. The flood pass to Caple is very predictable and is their go to. A seam route to Hedger or a wheel to Washington wouldn't hurt either. Looking forward to a great rematch with a different result :thumb: !

Would love an update on his season and his offer sheet.
