I'm still curious as I have no idea. How many assistant coaches that have had kids on the team have left the sidelines after their kids graduated and how many stayed on long after their kids have left. I'm not talking about a coach that has a kid graduate and another in the pipeline, i'm talking about how many are still on the staff after their boys time playng is over.

 

I'd be interested in seeing the 6 that AL listed how long they've been on the staff and when their sons graduate. Think it would be very interesting.

Oh Bryson is well aware of the Union Mafia, he's seen it help him in building the program and leave the program.

The issues are not how many coaches are on sideline when their sons are playing. The real issue is the style of play that Ryle brings to the table. Ryle offense is call a spread offense, does that fit the team of players on the sideline? Game planning and halftime adjustments are very poor. O-line in my opinion was weak point this year. Passing game was nothing but throw the ball up and hope Ryle players cathes it. When you become one demensional in running the ball, due to no true QB in game it's easy to game plan and adjust. As seen in the last two games. Putting kids in position that they don't belong in don't help, trying to make the next Elliot does not work either. Defensive side of the ball, Ryles defense is old school, if no pressure then becomes easy to pass on, yes they had injuries that hurt secondary, but no adjustment to help that situation. Warner needs to get an OC who knows the game, and can also develop QB's ... this was at Ryle years ago, but now it seems Warner does not want to give up that control of the game, as we have seen the past three years it has not worked.

The biggest question would be who would replace him? This isnt College or the League, great or even good coaches are not just standing in the unemployment line waiting on a hire.

 

Is there a name that the Union Mafia is working on or have their sights on?

 

Just curious, people do realize unless you are bringing in a "big time proven outside the system coach " then early results might be better then they are now but winning a State Title the first yr is highly unlikely for a while if ever. I could name maybe 2-3 coaches that could maybe do this but I dont want to threadjack this discussion with pie in the sky.

At one time I agreed with it might be time for Warner to go. He may not need to go but he and the administration probably need to sit down and talk about the direction the team is going. Does he need to rethink his assistant coaches. If he does not right the ship quickly the talent coming up may never make it to the varsity level. From the comments here and what I have heard on the streets the ship is sinking if major repairs are not made it could sink quickly. Ryle wants to be an elite team in the state of KY. They schedule a brutal schedule and while you hope that prepares your team it can have a reverse affect if you are getting your b2tts beat in those games.
