Don't know if that the right interview or not , I searched for a link but couldn't find it . It was captioned on the screen with quotation marks " My state needs Obamacare " but that clip doesn't include it .

Even if eventually the government does take over health care then you point still doesn't hold water. They aren't controlling my life now nor will they then. I still have the option to not take health care.

Thats not the point, they can take your house if they want to, that is controling you. And they dont have to give you your asking price either.

 

Point is the government can control things we do, maybe not having kids, movies we watch, but they do control the media, gas, drugs (prescription).

 

I am not so far gone to think they can control things you mentioned, but they do control a lot more than what people think. If they control your money, they contol most of what we do.

Imminent Domain is rarely used and you get fair market value (may not be what you want, though). Governments only do this when it is for the common good for all e.g. school, road, right of way, etc. Local communities due to their laws, or zoning, or whatever condemn a property, also. Again, they see that as a decision that is good for the community as a whole. It appears to me that if you don't like a decision, law, whatever, MR, then the govt is controlling us. That is just not the case and how I believe most see it. All of us have laws or rules we don't like, but that doesn't mean they are controlling us.
