When a team makes the postseason as often as he did, especially when they were one of the top seeds the majority of those times, they need more than one ring to show for it. As for Manning, Cowherd even had a Indy beat writer on his show today who covered Manning's entire Colts career. He said, for whatever reason, in the biggest moments and games, Manning tends to play below his "normal" standards. Said he told Broncos media guys beforehand to not be surprised if he had his worse game of the year (to date) last night.

I definitely get your points, however Luck has still yet to win a playoff game either. What happens if the Colts lose their first playoff game again. Are people going to start talking about him like Dalton? Good enough to get there, but fails in the playoffs? We have yet to see if Luck's play drops in the post season like Manning or not. Luck's game does set up better to perform well in the cold unlike Manning though. So he could have a chance to do better in post season. However still has to be proven.
