I did not know that. WSON has broadcast Henderson games for as long as I can remember and I don't ever recall them not being allowed by another team. Not saying it hasn't happened but just don't recall it.

 

Is it common in Louisville for this to happen?

X and Trinity are the only 2 teams in Louisville that regularly broadcast their games I think. During the height of the private school hysteria public schools regularly denied requests to broadcast Trinity games. I remember one time a school in EASTERN Jefferson County didn't deny permission to broadcast the game but wouldn't let the crew in the press box so they broadcast the game from the Trinity sideline.

I remember the crew having to broadcast from the sideline durimg the playoffs a couple of years ago at Butler. I think there might have been an issue with the condition and/or size of the pressbox.
