So Ballard has 5 of the top 10 players in that region? It really won't be fair to play their district and regional tournament games with that kind of advantage. Seriously, if you look at all of the talent on the teams in their region, really? It seems that the people doing the ratings for Cats Pause only watched the state tournament last year (and nothing leading up to it)! Did they know that there were games prior to that event lol?

Can anyone elaborate more on Trotter from Seneca, Douglas from Ballard, Parker from Male, and Ivory from Trinity?

 

I've heard more about the others but didn't really know quite as much about the others. I've heard about/seen Ivory from Trinity, but it was pretty limited really.

Douglas is a defensive stopper, and high energy guy. Comes up with a lot of loose balls. Parker is a long, versatile player. His height has kept him in the post, but he's more of a wing. He's also had some injury issues the last couple seasons. Or that's what I've heard.

I feel like Malik Dow is the 3rd best player on Ballard. Am I wrong in that thinking?

I believe Dwayne Sutton of Manual should be in the top 10 players of the region. He averaged 11 points and 8.5 rebounds as a sophomore last year. He had numerous double-doubles last season. He is a 6'4 wing player that is relentless on the glass. He had 15 pt's 13 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals in the game against Ballard, He also had a 20 rebound game against Moore(17 defensive).

Can somebody provide some info about Spalding of Trinity? What kind of big man is he? Traditional, back-to-the-basket guy or more versatile?

 

Not a big man at all, more or a wingman off the wing. He use to play guard before he had an Anthony Davis growth spurt, so he can shoot, dribble and attack. Defensively he's a force because of his length, anything that comes inside or near him is likely to get thrown back to the shooter. He's rated in the top 150 of rivals and 24/7 and currently holds 4 d1 offers.

Waynie is a nice player but who would you put him ahead of on the top ten? Also I think that Owens and Ramser of Trinity would be ahead of him too.

I would put him ahead of both Corey Douglas and Will Parker. I also think that Trotter is overrated. Douglas is just long and plays around the rim. He has no perimeter game. Parker, hasn't impressed me much at all. Granted he has been injured but his numbers don't add up. Trotter is quite possibly the most athletic player in the state, but he is way to inconsistent and I don't know about his basketball IQ. I like Owens, but I don't believe Ramser is better.

Fair points. I base my judgement of Ramser over Waynie from them playing together on the same AAU team in which it appeared that Ramser was the "go to guy" on the team. thanks
