I give. What's your point? I try to give credit to the better team/player when I can, even if they are not a Pioneer.

You need to step back and read the posts a little closer.

 

My list included a center (who the HHS line coached bragged upon when I spoke to him last week ) and 2 senior wide outs that are pretty darn good players. What I said about the wr's is that they should be in the debate. The other two wide outs were thrown out there by other posters.

 

How is that not giving credit where credit is due? If I would have posted an entire team of Bluebirds that would be going overboard and discounting other teams.

 

Do you really expect me to post a bunch of names of kids I haven't seen play? Since no one in N Ky will play the Birds except for Campbell and CovCath my exposure to anyone else is limited.

 

Campbell had no one that stood out for me to mention. IF they have a lineman that deserves accolades then please by all means Campbell fans give the kid props. Not a position that will notice while watching one game a year. At CovCath some of the better players are injured. Burchell may well be the best linebacker in N Ky, but in the one game I saw - the CovCath defense did not stop anyone. The older Dressman is a stud - put him on the team as an athlete/hybrid player.

I get it. You assumed I was talking about you, which I wasn't. I was making a general point, trying to politely say that in a few days every starter for HHS would be listed as the 'best' by somebody and whenever someone says their player is better they'd be blasted for suggesting that.
