I enjoy twitter way more than facebook. I like the tone of twitter and for me twitter is more adult than facebook as well. I especially love twitter during sporting events. I definitely enjoy #NBALeaguePass with Hammertime. :lol:

I have a cousin who put on facebook how much he loves to smoke weed. His mother then shared his status and in the status update she put "why would you say something like that on facebook?" My sister then commented, "why would you share something like that on facebook?" :lol: :lol:

the reason I'm not on twitter is because I don't want to be bombarded with emails everytime someone I follow posts something. Does that make sense? Is that how it works?

 

My daughters and son use it all the time, and one of my daughters hastag every entry she puts on FB also. I guess I just don't like change lol.

Anyway I can still access his site if I click on the alert. I have a time or two just to see what the heck its about. I can't follow it...it's very foreign to me. I just don't get the appeal. And I STILL don't know the significance of a #hashtag.

Basically I looked at hashtags as topic identifiers. For instance, #tbt is ThrowBack Thursday. People on Instagram and Twitter post old pictures of themselves (throwbacks). So if you did a search for #tbt you would find every picture that had the #tbt hashtag used.

 

Another example would be the #Reds hashtag. I use it quite frequently when discussing the Reds (either moves or a game) and because I used the hashtag, other people who are wanting to join a Reds conversation can search for the hashtag, see my tweet, and then join in.

Essentially yes. It pretty much links all the tweets with that #hashtag into one so they can all be viewed.

Whenever I hear a rumor like....Lil Wayne is dead...I'll search it on twitter and everyone who has commented on Lil Wayne being dead will pop up and if there is a credible link then that will be found as well. Twitter is like Google on steroids in some aspects because you can search for pretty much anything and chances are somebody somewhere on twitter has either talked about it, linked it or both. If I want to know if something is true I use twitter.

Bluegrasspreps is back on twitter and pretty active right now. High school football is its concentration right now and that will transition to high school basketball and college basketball as well.
