From great sources that I have, I found out yesterday that defensive coordinator Randy Borchers will named head coach next week. What does everyone think about this potential hire?

If he got the job, that's great to hear. He deserves it and he will do a great jb keeping Ludlow competitive.

The Ludlow posters on the board have all been pulling for him since day one. I'd say that's good enough for me. Good Luck Coach Borchers!

I am waiting for BigZig's seal of approval.

Randy is a great guy, good coach, and the perfect guy for Ludlow.

Good luck and all the best to Randy and the Panthers.

Just spoke with Randy on the phone, and he told me there is no truth to this rumor. He stated that there will be no decision made until after the 20th of this month, thats when the 30 days is over.

If this is true and I hope it is then I will be very Happy. I think he will keep the program going in the right direction. He coached me all four years when I was in high school and he is a great coach and should do a great job as the head coach if he gets the job.

Sorry for just now getting back to this thread. Like I have told BigZig, I was just relaying what I had heard. If it's not true at the current time then I apologize for posting the thread.
