Number of quality at bats against the pitcher in the game. Number of ground balls he hits. And so on. They are your numbers regardless who compiled them. You keep reverting back to them so you own them. All I need to know is you're cool with reducing your chance of scoring by 23% and you will rip those numbers provided by that article without even reading it.

I read the excerpt that was posted. It was clear about the 23% reduction in scoring and I don't have a problem with that, nor do I think it's wrong. However, there's still a chance of scoring based on more things than math, like the situation.

But, I understand your point, anything out of the infield scores Hamilton. I'm just saying you had a guy on the bases that could've made it 2nd and 3rd (or 1st and 3rd) with no outs, and your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hitters coming up. And in that scenario, I want them to HAVE to throw Hamilton out at the plate.
