Why did they start 8 sophs?

 

Injuries and such. Two technically did not start because they are playing today but have started in past. Two sophomore on offensive line last night

I talked to a Ryle fan. He said it is miserable watching the offense. Not the kids. He was clear on that. He was talking about the play-calling and style of offense.

 

I've said for years that Ryle isn't getting the best and when they do get the best they're not being utilized properly (ie in a post-1974 offense). Defense is always stout though.

 

Simply put they should be winning more games every year.

 

Hats off to the Raider players for the effort shown last night. They held a good offense to 21.

It may be a new system in name only. Still resembles a lot like the old system.

The penalties against Conner were ridiculous. I believe it was 16 (for over 100 yards) for Conner vs. 3 for Ryle. Both personal fouls against Barker by #42 for Ryle. Things you would not expect from a coach's son.
