Not to diminish the "House" thing, but that has be experimented with in many schools, both public and private. Many schools call it "families" instead of "houses". With that said, it sounds like Trinity has taken it to the next level from what knowledge I have of other schools that do similar things.

It's extremely common in Great Britain. The idea really came to life after Trinity's principal took an educational exchange trip to the UK one summer and saw how the thing is organized first hand. My senior year was the first year it was tried. I enjoyed it then. My understanding is that its popularity has only increased.

I agree. I always thought the 'T' was a mushroom. Design is too busy & if you have to ask what the logo is then that itself is confusing.
