Not a shot at all, but I do find it ironic with all the one and done's that they still call it an "alumni" game...

 

How are they not alumni? They did attend the University, and it is the only university they attended. It's not like they came for one year then went somewhere else for three years and graduated, they came to school for a year and now they're millionaires.

 

 

I think it says a lot that all of these guys come back for something like this. I've heard more times than I can count (we even had a thread about it if I remember correctly) that these guys do not care about the University or fans and that they are just using UK as a pit stop before the league. I've heard Kentucky is just an NBA factory, etc. etc. To me this shows, and proves that these guys do care and they enjoy coming back to campus.

They couldn't call it a rich pros game because Ramon Harris and Perry Stevenson played.

Maybe they were butlers for some of the other players (although I always liked Stevenson but never thought he realized his full potential).

I have always been one to say that those guys don't care. They have proven me wrong. Very impressive to see them all come back.

Anyone have a problem with Liggins and Jones being well received or even asked to come back for the game? Is this an innocent until proven guilty type of situation?
