That's my problem with it. If he's within the skate park, then that's one issue and the parent is clearly stupid for allowing her 3-year old to walk around in the skate park. If he is close to the skate park but skating in a public area, then he can probably expect to plough over a child.

It was an accident. Ms. attacker obviously did not see the event. Assuming that was not a skate park the guy screwed up - but he was doing the best he could of the situation - 'til the right hook came in. That was right hook that Mr. Ali would be proud of!

So the skateboarder was in the wrong - barely. Getting mad at the skateboarder for skateboarding just outside the designated area is still a lot of over reaction. August 22, 201313 yr How did you determine that was the location? Well, far enough down in the comments of the article is a post to a video where someone REALLY analyzed this incident... Everything matches. You can see the up and down rail that is in the video and its in the 'skate part' of the park. The rest matches up. And someone had time to even play CSI on the incident in this video...
August 22, 201313 yr It's obvious in the video that he is outside the actual skate park. There are many people wondering around that area where he is skating during the accident. Barely out or not...he's out and it becomes the skateboarder's fault at that time, IMO. Again, all that being said, it still doesn't give the woman the right (no pun) to throw a punch.
