Reds need to get on a run and rip offs some wins over the next couple of weeks.

2 games back of the Cardinals

5.5 games ahead of the Diamondbacks

It would be good to sweep this one.

The Reds have beaten up on the Cubbies lately, hopefully that continues.

Night games at Wrigley are still cool to me for some reason.

Cubs are playing a lot better of late...

That said, from the Reds standpoint, going out on this road trip vs the bottom of the NL Central while everyone around them in the standing has somewhat "tougher" games, with Latos going twice over that stretch.... They need to aim for no less than 6 outta 7....

^ I think 10-3 this year.

Nice, thanks RP. I think it's just as impressive dating back to last year, too.

Latos: 15-3 in last 30 starts, 25-7 in 56 starts with #Reds, team 38-18 when he starts.

Basically got him for Yonder Alonso at this point... Anyone seen any signs of Grandal? Boxberger? Volquez has been exactly what we thought he was, a back end of the rotation pitcher. At best...

One of the most overlooked pitchers in the league, in my opinion. He has been great this year but the bullpen has blown several of his starts (at least 5, I think).

And Yonder has pretty much been who we thought he would be as well. Grandal just tore his ACL.

Agreed. 38-18 in his starts is pretty outstanding.
