Over? Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??

I ain't going anywhere. LCRW can dust my shoes, taint my wet suit, land on my beaches...I am here to stay.

Not as hitting coach. Spindoc will be announcing his new hire very soon.

What do you mean??? I have us winning 1!!

Given how the Reds have performed against good teams...especially on the road...my projection of 1 in Atlanta victory may well put me in line for the 2013 Norman Vincent Peale - Power of Positive Thinking Award.

But as the hitting coach you should feel confident in yourself as an instructor and in your hitters to get the job done to pull out more than 1 road victory against a good team.

You should be working with Frazier to rotate his backside through while keeping his weight in the box instead of shooting his backside out. You should put it in Votto's ear that due to his struggles with RISP this year that maybe he should apply his two strike approach to every pitch of the AB with RISP.

Until the AS break we will be taking applications for hitting coach. We currently have one, I'll review those and make the decision during the all star game. For those interested, please forward an application to LRCW by PM who will take the apps organize and forward them to me, then a decision will be rendered. Until then, we will have to go to the plate, swing hard in the event we hit it and press forward.

Hey man, we don't go for that kind of thing on BGP.

In hindsight that does sound questionable and maybe should have been phrased as "work with Frazier on rotating his back foot so his hips can square up to the ball."

I will get my application to him ASAP. :ylsuper:

Which one do the Reds win?

I would say Teheran.

Braves were a Choo home run away from sweeping Cincy back in May. Both Medlen and Minor pitched great against the Reds in the previous series. Hudson has only faced the Reds once in the last 3 seasons. Hudson pitches a lot better at home than on the road this year. 3-0 with 2.68 era at home, 2-7 5.19 era on road.

How does a tie game equal a sweep?

Sorry didn't mean the Choo home run I meant the back-2-back home runs. I just still picture his though. Haha

The Braves are garbage. Should be an easy series win. They just feast off crappy teams.

If the Braves are garbage then what does that make the Reds?

Unlucky since they aren't in the NLEast.

Wow, that's clever.

So now that the Reds are struggling it's the fault of division they are in? Some of you Reds fans crack me up because before the season started there was talk about how great this team was but now that other teams have stepped and the Reds are struggling it's someone else's fault.

Braves are 21-14 against the NL East, 10-6 against the Central.

I don't disagree that the NL. East is a weaker division this year but to act like it's a very bad division is silly. Phillies and Nationals are quality teams.

Not my fault that the Braves take care of business and the Reds cannot.
