July 4, 201313 yr Shoot, another very annoying employee and yes I'm glad my boss doesn't read this. Mr throw you into a meeting without first letting you know what it is in reference to. My boss has a very bad habit of holding a conference call about something he has no clue about and 30 mins into his call he walks into your office and asks you to come into his office with no further information. You walk in and he says "so and so is here now" (into his speaker phone) and expects you to know the subject that is being discussed already.
July 4, 201313 yr 1a. Mr. Blame Whatever, Blame Whoever - this guy doesn't care that he hasn't been doing his job to the best of his ability. Tends to be lazy. Will tell the boss that he is not the one responsible for any mishaps or mix-ups and is quick to throw others under the bus. 1b. Mr. Brown Nose - every office/company has one. This person is commonly seen talking to the bossman about stuff that he knows little about, but knows what the boss wants to hear. Often takes full credit for ideas even when they come from a person lower in the chain. And yes, I was an inch away from mixing it up with this person today!:madman: 1b is funny. I wrote a very long report for a company in Australia about a project I headed up for my department. At the time we had an interim director who asked me to write up this particular report etc. I completed it and sent it to him in electronic form to look over, he took it and simply took my name off the paper and replaced it with his and forwarded it to the Judge executive and to the Australian Parliment who was to approve their project. Yep, that may have been one of the lowest things I've seen a superior do in the workplace. Unfortunately for him they didn't buy it and knew he not only didn't have the knowledge of the project that he claimed to have, but the Australian Govt flew me there all expenses paid to get their project off the ground. Our Judge executive is the one who blew the whistle on our interim director and he was relieved of that position lol
July 5, 201313 yr How about the office "Hot Sauce Guy"? Keeps a bottle of hot sauce (or sometimes multiples...for different applications, ya know) at his desk at all times. Always gets his meal at a 6 at the Indian restaurant when folks go there for lunch, and he calls everyone a wimp that doesn't get something as spicy as he does.
July 5, 201313 yr The Masochist Whiner This person has a constant complaint about everything and never has an idea or suggestion on how to make it better. Why? Because if they ever offerred an idea to make it better, what would they whine about? This company stinks; these people are stupid; nobody knows how to do that; that manager is worthless; why would they ever do it that way; this report is a waste; etc., etc. etc. all day every day. The masochist whiner seems to derive pleasure from complaining. Kind of like most sports fans ... :lol2:
