Have to agree with LSU Rock... Sam Adams brought (as Rick Bozich called it) the traffic cop offense to town. Seemed to work fairly well for Trinity I'd say.

I agree too but I solely basis it on his looks. He's a great looking guy

Sterling Ward and Jeff Burton of PLD would make very good Head Coaches. Sterling coaches the DB's and Jeff coaches the Defensive Line. :ylsuper:

Where is Jeff Burton originally from? I went to college with a guy at Morehead by the same name and he played football there at MSU. Could it be the same guy, I think he played high school ball at Jessamine County.

Jeff is from Mercer Co. He played football at Morehead State.

When did he play at Morehead?

Late 80's.

Jeff played at MSU around '86-'90. This is my next door neighbor from that same time frame and he was from Mercer County. Forgive me destroyed numerous brain cells during that time period. Jeff lived with another football player by the name of Monty McIntyre (sp).

We are talking about the same Jeff Burton. :thumb:

Yeah that jeff burton is a good race car driver too, I always like his brother ward better though LOL!

I would have played for a hot female coach....worked in the movie "Wildcats" with Goldie Hawn, didnt it? LOL

St. X's freshman coach is a women?

Coach Gary Morris @ Russell. He did wonders with Russell's D this year. Pretty much shut down the "Tony Franklin Offense" @ Owensboro Cath in the state championship. That was just one of many great coaching jobs he did that year. I'd like to see him get his shot, he deserves it.

With Newport having Schlarman, Reynolds and Salter, it's like having three head coaches.
