June 28, 201313 yr I've used my uncles G3 and I just don't like it. The UI seems a lot slower than the iPhone but it could just be what I'm used to. I will say my only gripe is the screen size. I wish it was a little bigger but not like some of the phones I've seen before its like people are carrying a freaking tablet around. Haha.

According to the article I referenced, the pace at which apps were being added to Android's Google Play store, they were on track to have 1,000,000 apps by June 2013.

Actually over 900,000. iTunes App Store Closing In on 1 Million Apps Well for what it's worth, the article I referenced was from this past April, so I'm sure there has been a good amount added to both the Google Play store and the iPhone app store. From the research I'm doing, it's appearing that Google Play hasn't publicized an official number since February, which is number used in the article I referenced, again, published in April. Apple just publicized their latest tally within the last month, putting them at 900000+, as you said. I think it's safe to assume that Google Play has gained a proportional amount of ground on February's 800000 apps - probably putting them somewhere close to the iPhone store. Regardless, my A#1 selling point in regard to apps is the fact that there are proportionally more free apps for Android than there are for iOS.
June 28, 201313 yr I am currently using T-Mobile's prepaid service here in southern Kentucky and was thinking about switching over to Sprint tomorrow afternoon. The plan that I would be getting is either the 450 minutes with free nights and weekends with unlimited text and data for $79.99 per month before taxes and fees OR the Unlimited Plan where all minutes, text and data for $109.99 per month prior to taxes and fees. I am going to go with Sprint because of the unlimited data since I do not have internet at my house, BUT my only quandary is which phone I should get. Sprint is having a deal now where new customers get a great discount on phones and I could get either a 16GB Samsung Galaxy S3 or a 16GB iPhone 4S for free with a two year contract. I currently have a 16GB iPhone 3GS that I have grown accustomed to after having an Android for a few years prior. I like both types of phones and can't make up my mind on which one to get. The main feature on the S3 I like is the screen size while I LOVE the iMessage feature on the iPhone. Please help ye fine folks out there in the English world of BluegrassPreps. RUMSPRINGA!!!! I don't know anything technical about any phone, but can't you get unlimited phone, text and data with T Mobile for $50 per month? I did and it works well for me.

Yes I could do that but the only problem is where I live. I have been using just the $30 prepaid plan for 100 minutes with unlimited data and text BUT I can't get T-Mobile's data service hardly that often as it almost always has me on AT&T's network and if you aren't on your provider's service, you can't use the data package. And when I am on T-Mobile's network I am not on its 3G service. I can't even get that until I am in Richmond, KY. If I lived in Richmond, Lexington Or Cincinnati, I would go with T-Mobile's prepaid service in a heartbeat but since I don't live in either city, I have to go with what is best suiting my needs. And I think I have decided on which phone I am going to get..... The iPhone 4s because I am now used to the ease of use of the iPhone AND I like the iMessage feature the most out of anything either of the two phones has to offer. Oh and I make my own ringtones for the iPhone so customization is pretty easy too for me.
