NCAA Football 2014

The demo was released on Xbox Live the other day and I must say this game looks and plays horrible. The graphics took a step back (players, stadiums, fans in the seats, etc.) The game plays very slowly and just doesn't have a smooth and natural feel.

I would not buy this game without playing it first just in case you were thinking of it.

EA really sucks and did a horrible job with this game IMO.

Have other downloadable demos played smoother? I don't know just asking.

Yes, the demo is usually released right before the game actually releases. I believe it's set for a July 9th date so it's only a couple of weeks.

I mean it could just be me, but I talked to a few other people as well and the felt the same, that the game took a step backwards.

They'll patch the lag and slower game play. I think it's a lot better. If you like schemes, especially on offense this game is good. The run game is nice, but I think defense is hard. It's geared toward offense this year.

^ Games shouldn't have to have a patch to fix a slow gameplay, it should be something that never existed to begin with.

The version that hits the store may not have that problem.

Maybe not but still doesn't offer a good vibe to post a demo that isn't ready or may not be the same.

They've definitely lost one sale because of it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way.

EA is losing to 2K Sports.

I wish 2k was able to do an NFL game.

The first one that they came out with wasn't horrible but sales weren't able to compete with Madden.

On IGN thy gave it a 7.4. Said the graphics were bad and commentary was awful. Gameplay was okay but nothing different from last year.

I don't see how they don't see a major difference in the gameplay. Better of worse it is way different.

Should have worded it better. The overall gameplay was better than last year because of the new engine and what not but its not drastically better.

Got the game at midnight and after playing it for a while, I actually like it. It's a different game from years past and that's refreshing. Good way to end before going to next gen.
