It will take a miracle for a Microsoft product to ever beat a Sony product in worldwide sales. Sony would basically have to fall flat on their face, and they kinda did that at the beginning with the PS3. It took a lot longer than many expected, but even with the extra year Sony finally caught them sometime in the last 6 months-1 year. Microsoft just doesn't do well in Japan and they are rabid for their video game systems there.

My original plan was to wait until both consoles were released to see if there were any red ring type problems from either console. Then make my choice based on price and used games. But most of the people I play console games with have already placed Xbox One pre orders. I'm sure that will end up swaying me to stay with Xbox.

 

Of course the biggest factor could be the ESPN app, as I'm not sure Sony has ever had the ESPN app on their console. I've had to watch more than a few UK games on there before. lol

Could any of the PS3 owners let me know if ESPN3 is on there?

Microsoft says "This isn't a sprint" in regards to E3 and the constant reaction that Sony has already won.

 

They say there is 5 months until the release and there is still a lot of information and cool things that they have not shown yet.

 

 

 

I tend to agree with this, I mean did Sony show all their hand too early? Did Microsoft still not show enough? Is Sony hiding any potential bad parts of the system in hopes that the good outweighs the bad? 5 months is still a long way to go and a lot more info to come I'm sure.

Couple more updates, Sony now saying they will not allow the use of an online pass on PS4. Still seems as if publishers could use some form of DRM, just not an online pass.

IMO he has been a disaster of a spokesperson for the new Xbox.

If Microsoft doesn't fix the used game idea they are done for, I think they will change something on it. They have to, they have to realize how bad of an idea it is after seeing all the reactions. Greed will be their downfall...
