May 20, 201313 yr Just bought a new battery for my 4s as well. Hope to get it in this week. My batter is about shot. Barely holds charge for 1/2 of normal use. Went through the same thing. I'd charge it overnight and by the time I got to work it was at 90% without me using it. It was crazy. I pretty much had to leave it on a charger 24/7.

May 22, 201313 yr I have a question for you Iphone 5 users. Currently today I've used mine: Usage: 2 hours 40 minutes Standby: 4 hours 13 minutes I'm at 56%. Seems like the battery is running down fast. Should I take it to apple? Would the replace my phone or am I out of luck? I bought it when they first came out so I think I'm still under the year.

Since this post I'm down to 49%. And I am using LTE but that still seems to be a little fast.

May 22, 201313 yr Speaking of iPhones, has anyone else had the problem where sometimes when you plug it in, it doesn't charge? Most of the time I have to plug it in, unplug it, and then plug it in again for it to recognize the charge.

May 22, 201313 yr Charging tip for those who may not know this..... I used to work for a couple of different cellular companies and one thing I learned that has really helped me and helped others is the fact that batteries have memory. The best way to charge your phone, or anything with these new age batteries is to wait until it is almost completely dead then charge until it is full. Most people I know just charge it here, charge it there, or just leave it plugged in all night. Those are the worst things you can do to maximize your battery. Say if your battery is over half full and you charge it to a full battery, after time your battery only acts as if it has half the memory. That is why it is essential to wait until you are at least at 5-20% battery life and charge until full, this ensures your battery maintains a good battery life and a longer charge. Hope this helps some people......
May 22, 201313 yr I'm also glad I read this thread because although I experimented with Siri at first, I rarely used a lot of its features. After seeing the comment about using Siri to post using forum runner, I am glad I have started taking advantage of this feature. I did not realize how much easier this feature makes it to text or post on BGP's, or any other situation where typing is involved. Also surprising is the accuracy it has, especially considering I have a country accent. Almost always types the correct messages no matter how long.
