Works sucks, so I was unable to attend and don't have many details but sounded like a good game. Looking at scores recently it seems Cooper is playing better of late so this is a good win for the fish eater's from Latonia.

I think their pitching is about equal and I think Holy Cross has more talent on the field which leads me to believe, Early out for the Blue Birds. JMO

you should get out more. birds just beat HC last week 4-1 without Graybill in the lineup! (who is arguably one of the best hitters in the state). pitching the same??? C'mon! what I saw, HC has two players. ss and catch! their shortstop made two or three plays that kept it from being a blowout.

wow, when quillen plays 2nd, they arguably have one of the best middle infield combos in NKY that i've seen this year with Coffey and Quillen! and grosser in center gets it done! i agree the rest can be up and down at times, but they still compare to most of the other teams in NKY. crazy how everyone thinks HHS D is not good, but up until this weekend tournament, they were 13-5 against NKY competition playing a pretty good schedule. this past weekend was another story with illness and injuries.

The birds turned three double plays in the HC game, two by the third baseman who had perfect throws to the second baseman leading her to the bag. For having a so so defense they were on their game that night. Now the one Moran turned was a thing of beauty. But with 3rd ss and 2nd being fr fr soph for the birds they should only get better.

I think you guys need to understand you are debating with a Campbell County/and or Brossart fan, not an Indian supporter.

I love it a good old fashion arguement on here and I am not involved.

 

I have said it before HC can play with anyone in the region but it would be an upset to win a game in the region.

 

OK I can't stay out of it!! I think most people say or think HHS defense is on the weaker side bc HHS posters said it was the reason they lost several games early. Sounds like they are fielding it better of late which will make them a tough out in the tourney.
