Jon Hood, Jarrod Polson, Twany Beckham set to graduate in May

Featured Replies

UK probably has tutors and mandatory study hall for its players. These help, too. Don't forget, also, that some kids start college having earned 20 or so credit hours in high school. Congrats to all three young men.

Great to hear. IMO athletes should be able to graduate in 3 to 3.5 years. They take classes year-round. 3 summers can lead to 27 hours ie close to a full academic year.

They also have mandatory study tables as a freshman, and then as a soph, junior, and senior can be able to opt out based on GPA. Tip of the hat to these young men who took advantage of what was provided them and made the most of it.

Shame more don't take advantage of all the opportunties presented to them.....

If you are a college athlete, getting a 3.0 these days should be very easy with minimal effort. They have so many more advantages now than the regular student that they should take advantage of.

One reason to take summer classes is that you don't have to take as many hours during the season.

Correct. However, there is a minimum #. I think it's 9.

We need to add Marquis Estill to the list of basketball players who graduated this weekend.
