Charles walker TB turned WR from St. Xavier competed against some of the best DBs in the country and performed great. He was top 12 in offense performers and the best WR there. He finished #11 on offense and 1 at the WR position.

Walker looks like he's built to be a slot receiver at the next level but he also has the quickness to get open down the field. His advantage against defenders is clearly his ability to read and adjust to the ball in the air, combined with a very consistent pair of hands.

Congrats to Charles! I remember watching him against Riverdale his Sophomore year, and thought he bothered defenses more as WR than a RB. Either way, get him the ball and more often than not, good things happen!

Yeah, instead of throwing it to him they just handed it to him 20+ times.

I think someone like him would be more dangerous in space as opposed to taking it out of the backfield (not that he wasn't tough back there). He will be more difficult to deal with this year if they actually put him out wide and throw it to him IMO.

You might ask the Dutch Fork coaches their opinion on this. He had an 85 yard TD run and an 89 yard punt return for TD called back on penalties in the first half against Dutch Fork.

But he's supposed to play WR with Percell and Davis In backfield. Walker paired with roshkowski out wide :banana:
