I like Pugh from Syracuse and think he'll be there if they go OT in the 1st round. If available I'd jump on Fisher like white on rice from Central Michigan. Don't see it though. Painter from VA Tech may still be there in the 2nd round!

If they go OL in the first I'd get Alonso from Oregon at ILB in the second if he's available. This kid is a beast with a lot of upside. AJ Klein is a good fall back!

Lester from Alabama at SS would be a god fit and will light a nice fire under other Bama players on this squad.

RB position will become more important than safety. Gruden really dropped the ball on not running more last season. They may go RB in the first round, if so, flip a coin between Lacy and Bell. It's time to slow the game down with a 225 plus pound punisher who'll get you 4 yards a run.

Just my 2 cents gang. Hope they choose wisely. The organization has placed a lot on this draft due to their lack of addressing need in off season pickups.

This is either a list of Free or Stong but doesn't include all safeties. Notable absences are Kenny Vaccaro from Texas and Eric Reid of LSU.

If available I'd jump on Fisher like white on rice from Central Michigan. Don't see it though.

Thinking Fisher will fall to 21 is a pipe dream. He isn't out of the question for the #1 overall pick and haven't seen a mock that drops him past 7.

According to everything I've seen, OT's around their slot in the first round will be Fluker from Alabama and Watson from Florida State. Long should come off the board sometime in the second, whether around the Bengals first or second round picks will be dictated by whats going on in the draft and if there has been a run of OT yet. But this is a good draft for needing Offensive Linemen. A lot of good ones out there.

As far as RB, if they don't get Lacy or Gio Bernard I might just as well wait til later and take a chance on Lattimore or Barner. Lattimore obviously has the injury concerns. Barner is small. But I think either, given the correct work load and used the right way, could be game changers. When I look at Barner I see Darren Sproleish type stuff.

A lot of people are mocking Ogletree from UGa to us, but he's outside and I just don't see why we'd use a 1 on an area of non need.

I like Vaccaro. Don't think he'll be there. Beyond him, don't know if there are any of the other four top safeties that distinguish themselves enough to get out of the second round. I'm talking myself into the idea of liking Cordarelle Patterson....

If honey badger is there in the 2nd round I'd take him in a heartbeat

Really? I mean I would like to have him too, however if they have to spend a 2nd round pick on him then no thanks. What is he projected as going? Is he projected in the 2nd? I really don't know however I would assume maybe the 4th would be the earliest for him, or he could even end up sliding all the way out like Vontez did last year.

The Bengals are giving safety Jonathan Cyprien a private workout this week he could be the 21st pick or they could trade down and get him later in the first round or second round.

I really like what I have heard about him. I know he probably wouldn't be popular pick because he is not the big name. However after seeing highlights on him this guy is a playmaker and plays the ball great in the air and gets great breaks on the ball. Not to mention the scouting report also talks about how good of a form tackler he is. Out of the safety's I would take him, and hope maybe he falls to the Bengals first 2nd round pick so they can address another position instead in the 1st.

For all the negative talk about the Bengals, they must be doing something right.

Redrafting 2010's first round: Big changes after Bradford at No. 1 - NFL - CBSSports.com News, Rumors, Scores, Stats, Fantasy

I understand it's easy to go back and change the draft based on how the players are playing now. My point on this is the Bengals have 2 players who were drafted outside the first round who would be first rounders if we could do it again.

Wonder how the 2011 and 2012 redrafts would look.

The Bengals are headed in the right direction. The "OLD TIMERS" who are tired of the same old same old can't see the changes that have happened recently. Building through the draft instead of making a big splash in free agency seems to be working. Are they done, no, but they're a lot closer than they were 10 years ago, even 5 years ago.

I will say this even though me and Hellbird have gotten into it a lot when it comes to what the Bengals are doing. I can see his frustration with things on what the Bengals are doing. He wants them to take advantage of having some young pieces and try to win now. He seen so many bad years from the Bengals of trying to build through the draft, it makes it very hard for him to see the Bengals are doing it right now with this philosophy. That philsophy sucked for the first 15 or so years under Mike Brown because that philosophy can't work if you don't draft well. However they have shown that they maybe finally have figured out how to draft well (knock on wood) which is the reason why people like us see the positive direction they are going. However some people like Hellbird and others can't see it because they have seen so many bad and just wrong moves by the bengals for so long. So even though I disagree with Hellbird on most things, I can at least see where he is coming from some what.
