Looks like its the end of the road for the travelers at the EYBL. Still seems like they had a pretty good showing against the best teams in the nation. Best of all some KY kids got some big time exposure. That's what its all about.

 

 

I could be wrong, but won't be Travelers still be in Augusta in July? I think the top 24 play in the Peach Jam finals and the others play in a different tournament at local gyms against the other teams who didn't make it?

 

Agree on the exposure. The KY kids got to play in front of a lot of big time coaches and make a name for themselves. I watched them against Wisconsin Playground and had HUbert Davis (UNC) on my left and Orlando Antigua to my right with Cal, among others.

 

Next years' team will be very strong with Bolden, Justice, Beverly, McDonald, and Spalding among others leading the way.

I was told that if they win tomorrow morning, they are still in the Peach Jam because of how everything has played out. Don't know what the standings look like but that's from one of the parents.

A win over CIA Bounce or Mac Irvin win over Southern Stampede gets them in... Both SHOULD happen but you never know when it comes to the EYBL.
