Not to bash the Kid at QB last year, we all know who, but when we are in the stands pointing to a receiver 5 yards behind the corner and no safety help on a skinny post and we are screaming throw the ball and he takes 2 consecutive sacks because he can't throw the ball to a spot and let the WR go get it. That speaks for itself. We didn't have a QB last year. Davis was not the answer. Ryan can't throw and is way too short.

I've been ripped by a certain father on here but when I get pm's from him and he doesn't have the decency to reply back to my responses I don't give a darn anymore so I will say it right here. The biggest problem Ryle had was a father being an assistant coach who put his son ahead of the team. I have heard from several people that they have several coaches now who have kids on the team....I think Bryson is a great coach but some of the other coaches aren't doing him any favors if you ask me. When you play your son in a position he can't play it hurts the team. With the OLine Ryle had there is no reason they couldn't move the ball through the air at all last year. No one will ever convince me Davis wouldn't of been better at WR.

He would have been a better WR or backup RB. At this level I wish the parents who coach would put their egos aside and coach the team, not just their kid. I hope it did change, I hesitated before making that post, but too many good sources have told me about that being a huge problem there and I hoped it wasn't the truth but after hearing from someone last year I new I hit a nerve.

Some teams tell the qb who to throw the ball to and not read defenses or they do not gave built in read progressions based on pre snap coverage. It is real easy to sit in the stands and see open receivers. There are times that we see a wr open but do not realize that he could have been the first option and on the qbs hinge step he was not open, so you hitch up to your second read. While you come off to your second read the first read ends up coming open late.

Davis was a good athlete. Just didn't play well at QB. Regardless of the system, coaches, WR, Oline, the passing game was a mess. QB gets the glory, QB gets the blame. Goes with the position.

Bryson said he has released the OC and DC to other coaches so he can do a better job at evaluating the talent and get kids in the right positions. I suppose this will help him oversee his staff also. Sounded like a good move to me.

I took some of Slack's thoughts and ideas and incorporated some of it into what we were already running. We pretty much had things all tied together in a whole system but Slack gave just that extra component.

They both are fast and Nick can FLY.

I honestly thought if we had Nathan at Qb we should have used his speed and ran some triple option. Would have made those LB's that were coming downhill at us move side to side and have to find the ball instead of head hunting us like they did all year.

Bunch of kids are going to the Tommy Tubberville UC camp. It's in the middle of June. More the merrier.
