The issue I have is when a middle school kid at Summit View does this they also have to evacuate the elementary side. The first one my son had to eat his lunch on a school bus. The other day they got to play on the playground the whole time.

I heard that the kids that do this are only getting a slap on the wrist and are still going to the same school.

Only thing the school did was send a paper home. They should notify parents right when it happens and let them know their kids are safe. Not get on here and find out about 3 hours later.

Gotcha, I thought when you called the recordings stupid, that meant you did not want a call.

to some extent yes, but in this case I cant see how. Child leaves a note in the school, during school hours, parents are not their, how can they control their child when they are not with their child.

 

Um, they could be good parents from day 1, setting a good enough example so the thought of doing something so stupid never enters their head?

Parents can't be held responsible but the the juvenile court system should make an example of everyone that makes a bomb threat. It needs to include complete expulsion from the school and jail time.

Speaking of bomb threats, the Bardstown Wal-Mart was evacuated earlier tonight (strangely enough, apparently minutes after I was in there). I saw on Facebook where folks were saying that several other Wal-Marts also received bomb threats tonight, but I don't know how much stock I put into that.
