People make a lot about Te'o not being able to make any plays against the Crimson Tide, but those three interior lineman are potential 1st or 2nd round draft picks.

The way I saw Louisville get up for the Florida game, Alabama is the only team I would think they for sure couldn't beat. The Florida win is HUGE for momentum coming into this season. It will be interesting to see if they can sustain a lot of that throughout the year because for the majority of last year, they were fairly underwhelming.

And giving up big plays on the ground was our achilles heel for most of the regular season in 2012. That said, once the front seven was finally healthy and playing together they played MUCH better than they had all year. Bama's big offensive line would likely give our guys fits unless they play a darn near perfect game, which is what we saw in New Orleans in January. Also, I don't know if Saban is the best coach in the country in so far as preparation for an individual game, but any list you make has him in one of the top couple spots. I'd hate to play Alabama in Week 1, giving Saban all summer to prepare for that one game. Seems terrible.

They were mostly inept all season on offense, especially throwing the ball. Once UL had any type of a lead they were in the driver's seat.

I don't think we'd keep them from running the ball. But as long as it's in striking distance, I like Teddy.

We really couldn't stop anybody from running the ball, but Teddy and the rest of the offense could score more points than almost anybody we played (We'll get our revenge for that one someday, Syracuse). If the defense can come together and deny the run without giving up too much over the top, it's going to be a fun year on the corner of Floyd Street and Central Avenue.
April 18, 201313 yr The game would be better than most would think if the Cards O-line gave Teddy time to throw. I'm as big of a Alabama fan as there is but I liked what I saw from the Cards in the Sugar Bowl.
