April 4, 201313 yr Author I think if he realizes how much money he could be making, he'd be concerned. He's not stupid... He sees the Yum! Center filled to capacity every night. Those people come to see him and his team mates play. They are smart enough to realize how much money the University makes on basketball. Not to mention, most of all, Ware is absolutely not the type of kid to exploit his injury for money. If it was up to him, the first interview would have never started...
April 4, 201313 yr I love that a Dave Zirin article from The Nation is getting passed around by so many people. I've been reading Dave Zirin for years and based on the posts in the Politics and Religion forum, the overwhelming majority of people on this board would LOATHE that man. It's just funny to me... oh, and he's right about the NCAA but like Jay Bilas, has it totally wrong on how to fix it.
