I'd say a lawsuit for wrongful termination is forthcoming. Now you do realize that this couple traveled from Wales to Australia for this episode, right. I'm guessing that is a really long flight. They weren't just stressed and ran down to the beach from Atlanta or something. They bought their tickets and hotel rooms in advance and took off....

March 14, 201313 yr I would like to point out that Welsh labor laws are likely different from American labor laws. I'll try to do some research on that.
March 14, 201313 yr To clear things up for me, I'd like to know how long this "leave" was supposed to be. I mean, if the guy tells his boss "I need a week off to go re-charge the batteries" and the boss approves it, then what he does during that time period is of no concern. However, if he's calling in every morning saying "I don't feel well today, don't think I'll be in.", all the while fully knowing that they were going to be out of the country for xyz days...then that's a little underhanded there.
