I watched every minute. I thought the officiating was fine.

 

I agree. There was only one call that got my blood boiling, and it was against Fleming Co.

 

A lot of the foul disparity was Ashland having to come from behind in regulation and the second OT. In the last minute or so, Ashland fouled 3 times to force Fleming to shoot the Bonus. Fleming missed all 3 front ends which gave Ashland life. In the second OT I would guess Ashland fouled 4-5 times after getting behind, and it may have been more than that.

Haven't seen any video. I was just listening the Ashland radio team.

 

Was actually at the game and while listening to Dickie on radio..... poor man's eyes need adjusted.. Not at all as he was calling it on the radio. Not sure about this, but he could be a little partial to Ashland

The foul disparity about bit Fleming in the butt. With so many fouls to give, once Ashland took the lead, and Fleming had to give 5 fouls just to get them to the line to stop the clock, I thought it was ballgame over. But Fleming managed to get a jump ball situation that turned it over and I thought that was the biggest play of the game considering the situation.

It's every game. Every single game.

Fleming led by double digits midway through the second half, but turned the ball over a few times and missed the front end of three bonus situations to give Ashland life. A Dixson putback with 7 seconds left tied the game, and Burns got in the lane but couldn't get a clean look at the buzzer.

 

In OT Fleming hit a pair of free throws for a three point lead with 7 seconds left. They fouled almost immediately on the inbound since they still had a foul to give. Fleming didn't foul on the ensuing play, and an Ashland player (not sure who it was) got a pretty clean look from 3. The ball took a trip around the rim, bounced off the backboard, and then settled into the net to tie the game.

 

Fleming dominated the second OT with Burns scoring 8 pretty quick points as Ashland appeared to be completely physically and emotionally fatigued.

Salow hit the 3 to tie the game.

Both games were intense. Really, other than the first night, it's been good basketball to watch.

And Im sure tonight wont disappoint either. Fleming has beat Rowan 4 times this season. One went 2OT and another Fleming won on last second shot. Hope Fleming can pull it off, just tough to beat one team 5 times in a season. Should be another great game!

Ashland didn't use their press very much last night. Ashland didn't foul a lot to get back into the game. Fleming didn't use the clock very well last night. Ashland played zone the whole game till late in the 2nd ot. 32-11 difference in total fouls is a huge difference in a game Ashland 8-12 Fleming 28-44 I can't believe it was this close when you see those stats.The Tomcats stunk it up most of the night. They didn't rebound at all last night. Why complain about the Ashland radio team thats how they roll.
