Has there been an announced attendance given for the 2/26/13 9th Region games

Featured Replies

Walter... you and I were obviously at the same game... I'm not sure what game those who are severely low-balling the attendance estimate attended. By game's end I saw tons of fans in both lower level endzones, lower level sidelines were obviously well attended, and a fair amount in the uppers. Your highlights show this pretty plainly.

Its not an estimate. The number I gave is EXACT. The highlights show that the sideline lower was very well atteneded. The endzones were a little more than half full. The south endzone is all bleachers people were not crammed together and had plenty of room. The upper arena was less than half full as the north end was empty. As I said before the north end upper has more rows of seating than any section in the building. If your estimate is 6-7k that would mean there were 2500-3000 empty seats. There's at least that many empty seats in the upper arena alone.

Some people are just too stubborn to accept reality when it's not what they want to hear.... This thread has been good for a few laughs.

I never quoted an estimate. Bottom line to what I was saying is that those who say the lower level endzones were empty were blind. They weren't crammed but were certainly well filled by game's end. Because of the parking debacle fans were still making their way in while the game was in progress. Some headed to the endzones, some to the uppers mostly to avoid climbing over legs to get to the random remaining seats along the sidelines. I have no clue the attendance. From my observation it certainly was the highest attended 1st round 9th region game since holding the tourney at the BOK.

Yeah, because NKU is going to lie about the attendance figures....

Good grief, why can't you people just accept the fact that it wasn't as many as you originally thought?

The count isn't 3500 . And why would I have to be at the game to know the exact number?

Flat out and I can promise you this is 100% accurate the number I gotta go to work provided is spot on. Now...............that does not count those on the pass list who came in but that is certainly not a significant number as most on the pass list are players and coaches....................So maybe make your attendance 4,100 and call it a day.....

Here are 61 pictures of what NKU listed as an attendance of 3326 last night. And don't tell me they count season tickets sold that do not show up because they don't have that many season ticket holders. If this is a 3326 crowd then there was more than 3900 Tuesday night.

So what I see in these pictures are 3326 while the ones from paNDA are 3900?

Come on Frank, all those extra folks at the NKU game were in the bathroom when the pictures were taken!

Here is what a crowd of 6791 looked like at the Bank of Kentucky Center Saturday night. Go to the 4 minute mark if you are in a hurry. Somehow 6791 managed to not fill as many seats as the 3900 did Tuesday night.
