Bach is going to get his, that's a given, but as was learned last night you can't let others get into double figures. Staggs is a matchup problem for the Bears this time around, but they do have one of the better 2-1-2, 2-3 zones have seen this year, it gave Brossart,Harrison County, Newport and others fits, but you have to hit shots on the offensive end to get set up in it. If BC can keep this thing close at the end like they did at Bracken County and play half as good as Augusta did last night and Augusta plays half as good as they did last night(are you following me?), blue and white may take the district. Should be a good one.

^ Welcome to BGP Jimmy!

That jumper you hit to beat South Bend Central was a great shot! :thumb:

I know the margin of victory has decreased for Augusta each time these two have met, and I know Bracken has been on a roll as of late, but I have to believe that with Augusta fully focused, they come away with the victory. Panthers win by 10.

Agreed on that point.

Just gotta ask, Jimmy. How cool was it when coach ask you guys to measure the height of the rim at Hinkle? :) :) :)

By the way, just shows the diversity of "Bluegrass" Preps, having an ole Indiana high school hoops legend on here! :) :)

That was pretty cool, coach Dale always made things easy for us to understand, He simplified everything, with only 8 players we could not afford to get lost in the moment. If it wasn't for Olie we would not have had the opportunity to play at Hinkle..... HICKORY ...............

I'm curious to see what kind of defense the Bears play against Augusta. I'm equally curious to see if Augusta continues their hot shooting from the other night. Looking forward to this one! :thumb:

Good catch!

I will be in attendance, and am looking forward to both championship games. I really in my heart of hearts think that there is no way Augusta can beat Bracken 4 times this year, especially since I'm thinking they're prone to a let-down coming off a huge win, and this BC group is focused just on beating Augusta. It will certainly (hopefully) be a close close game.

I wish augusta all the best, but i'm a blue wearing man and have to stay true!

Bears by 3 on a last second shot.
