I think the montgomery, nicholas, bourbon, brossart, bracken, george rogers clark will still be at the top, but the camels have some maturity this year, maybe them. Not sure of any other sleepers?

Brossart should be there, last year look who beat ND in the district Beechwood well coached, great Lady.

Will the numbering system be utilized again this year at Campbell Co? It caused some controversy there last year.

No numbering this year. They each got a "report card" which I found very helpful. Showed the girls their times on mile, homer, home to first, sit ups and push ups along with the national and team averages for all those. Also "graded" them on several aspects such as hitting, catching, bunting, throwing, fielding and such. Let's them know where they are and what they need to work on. Very nicely done I think, nothing to complain about. I'll be the first parent to point out my DDs strengths and weaknesses...I think you do them a diservice building them up to be the "best on the team" if they are not...I am proud to say we'll be sitting in the stands again this season counting pitches...it's the only thing that keeps me quiet! LOL Can't wait for March 6th:):clap:

Highlands will be overlooked by many! Will be interesting to see how 3 juniors, 2 sophmores and 4 freshmen along with a new coaching staff will do this year. With a very challenging schedule 2 vs Conner, 2 vs Boone, 2 vs Ryle, 2 vs Notre Dame should be tournament ready. Hope everyone has a great season!

I don't think Highlands will be over looked, I just think people aren't going to believe in them fully until they beat some to the teams you listed. There were plenty of HHS people on here last year around this time saying the same thing and that didn't pan out so well.

 

Just a side note, NKY softball has always had and will have for at least the near future younger girls that are key members of softball teams, its really not a big deal to start all younger players. How many teams in the area do not relay on younger players?
