April 29, 201412 yr Love Walts. Been going there for years. I was so happy when they reopened last year because they have the best Ribs around. I've never gotten a steak there, always a slab with a baked potato and a salad. I tried their Mac and it was pretty dang good! Love the new interior but the dining room feels congested sometimes.
April 29, 201412 yr We went about a month ago. I got the ribs. There was not enough meat on them for a child's portion, let alone a 250 lb man :lol2: Wife's potato was cold and our server was way more interested in the table next to us then serving us. Needless to say, we won't go back.
April 29, 201412 yr I've been one time since it re-opened. I had a steak and the wife had salmon. Both of us were happy with the meal, but it wasn't a memorable experience. That was about 8 months ago, and we haven't been back, even though we live just a few minutes away. We will probably revisit it again at some point in time. It was much better than my last experience with the previous Walt's. We went a couple of years before it closed and it was a dreadful experience. Poor, slow service, and the food wasn't even close to good.
