At the half it was Holmes 15, GRC 10. GRC held Holmes to 2 points in the 2nd Q and Holmes held GRC to 2 points in the 1st Q. Hard defensive game. Will be interesting to see the shooting for each team.

Heard Bolden and Chames being in foul trouble early had a lot to do with Holmes struggles.

Where did you hear that. Bolden was in at the end of the game and subs JV went in less than a minute to go according to our radio announcers.

Really thought alot of positives for this GRC team in this game. Holding Holmes to 2 points in a quarter and only 43 points for the game when averaging 69 points. GRC plays with alot of heart and guts and won't back down from anyone. We have had a brutal schedule. Really think we can surprise some people in the post season.

Must have been outstanding defense or horrible offense by both teams to only score 43 and 26. I could understand it if one of them played stall ball but it doesn't sound like that was the case.
