What does Walton-Verona need to do to improve in 2013? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Good question. I am guessing around 40.
I'm looking forward to another (even better) year for the Bearcats.

And personally...this one might be extra special.

I look for it to be a challenging but yet interesting year for the Bearcats. As Sarge mentioned.....they lost a lot on both lines. They will certainly need some young guys to step up. The QB position will also be interesting with losing their starting QB from last season. I believe they have also ramped up their schedule a little for this fall as well. With all these things combined.....it may be a challenge for Coach Barth and the staff for this season. The pipeline does seem to be getting better so hopefully they will be able to try and keep building on last years success.

Going to be real hard pressed to find someone to fill the role of Cole Mosier, but the Bearcats to have some quality starters returning, especially Will & Chris Latimore. Hopefully they can build on the success they have had the past couple of seasons. For a school in the infancy stage of football they are definitely a program on the rise.

Didn't your family member set out last year? Is he trying out this year?
He concentrated on baseball last year. But the last time we talked, over the holidays, he was still planning to come back out for football this year. He's also been working out with that in mind. Either way, as long as he's happy, that's all that matters.

That is great. He is a good kid and I am glad that he is coming out.

I think that there are a few kids that did not play last year that are coming back out this year. With a small school you lose a few when they go to their Freshman year due to the fact that they don't want to have to practice against Jr's and Sr's everyday!

Good things are happening with our program and we are getting stronger. We have a long way to go but we have already came a thousand miles!

Thanks, I appreciate that. :thumb: Ironically, yesterday, I happened to stumble across the thread I started the day he suffered his broken leg playing football at WV field. Hard to believe that it will be six years in October since that happened!

They sure have! The Bearcats have so many reasons to be proud...and a lot more to come! :ylsuper:

No you won't be able to replace Cole Mosier but David Carr can step in and help fill the hole. Walton has alot of good skill players this year probably more then they ever had in the past.

Any word on an incoming freshman transfer? There have been rumors that a kid is going to move transfer due to the parents not liking the staff at a local school. Walton and cov cath were the two schools that were being rumored as choices.
