Vandy Head Coach James Franklin calls out Nick Saban

Featured Replies

^IMO it shows being 2 faced. If you don't like someone, then don't pretend like you do.

I get sick and tired of all the politically correctness as well. But calling someone Satan isn't cool. This is one of the rare times I think an apology is in order.

Just deserves a little more respect than Franklin has given him here....and winning does speak much louder than rookie coaches inmature comments....he should call him and apologize.....then maybe Bama will only beat them 6 td's rather than 8 td's this season!!!! Little more class Mr. Franklin!!!

Because he wins football games? Whatever. By several accounts, Saban is a pretty regrettable human being, not really worthy of respect.

People take things too literally. Franklin was speaking Mephistophelly, I'm sure.

Always?

No, I was referring to this incident.

But apologizing for not liking someone or your honest thoughts about someone is stupid. Some people are just not good people, nor are they worthy of an apology. Sometimes ya just gotta call it like you see it!

What are the several accounts that explains that Saban is a pretty regrettable human being and not really worthy of respect???

I keep coming back to the story of him stepping over his player in the locker room who was in deep medical emergency like the guy didn't exist, and the way he treats his players like pieces of meat. Those stories are quite common, Bama fan.

And I'm sure he's never, ever, ever once said a bad word about one of his colleagues in the coaching fraternity. Because that never, ever happens in the high-stakes world of college FB recruiting.
