Makes me proud to be a Bulldog! :)

Well, many were right in saying Bolden would get his. Seemingly incorrect that Hatton would get his. How did Holmes shut him down??

Impressed with Stat line of the Sophs in the game... Bolden we know about, but Schreck will be a player, too. Hedger a nice little line as well.

Does Holmes finish undefeated to districts?

Dixie's Sophs class is very deep. The class doesn't have a STAR player but it's very deep and has lots of size. They are also athletic as I saw 3 of the kids dunk the ball!! Don't think anyother soph class has 3 kids dunking. Coach Chev has a lot to work with over the next couple years.

I agree. And, I think a couple could be "stars" by the time it's said and done in the 9th in a couple of years.

Dunking in warmups is now how we decide how good a class is? Come on.

So, you disagree that Dixie has a good soph class? Or, your just not basing it on dunks?

Solid deep class.

Basing future performance off of pre-game dunking is just silly.

Can they make a jump shot? Can they score out of the post? Can they defend? Is there a strong PG to get them in their offense? Do they have toughness - physical and mental? Are they coachable?

That's what I'm using to make a prediction - not dunking in pre-game.

....biting my tongue.....

Haha! C'mon Mentsch... A blog isn't a place to bite your tongue :thumb:

Certainly agree. Solid-deep class, but being able to add athleticism to your aforementioned qualities is always a plus.

As mentioned in other blogs, I think the midrange game may be missing, but I think they have some nice guards and decent bigs. It's also important to see how the coach will develop them. Could be a "flop" class if not developed properly.

Is this better?? Dunking in warmups shows the players ability to jump.

Yes. Nothing else.
